In Memorium- WIP

My tribute to Dawn Brancheau. A few people have suggested a statue for Dawn to be placed outside Shamu Stadium on the FaceBook page, which I totally think is a great idea. I'd been thinking about that anyway, so I put pencil to paper and came up with this fountain (it is a fountain, BTW... that's what the two mushroom-shaped things are). It might not be a simple memorial, and I'm not sure what Dawn would have wanted, as I didn't know her personally, but I found it very therapeutic to draw this.

(By the way: Bowing orcas are a pain to draw. I've got tons of references, but it's still tough to put them to paper!)
